Free Transportation around Zermatt
Zermatt is famous for being a car-free town, with a great ethical approach to green transportation. Only commercial vehicles that are electric-powered are permitted, including the regular resort Ski Bus. If you hold a ski pass, it is free to jump on and off as you please. The Ski Bus travels on a continuous loop around the town, stopping at all of the ski lifts, and can be expected every 10-12 minutes.
