Zermatt Main Railway Station
This is most people's arrival point in Zermatt. Even if you travel most of your journey here by car, you will have to leave it at Tasch and jump on the train to Zermatt, which will arrive here at the main railway station.
On arrival here you will be met by the hustle and bustle of a major town square, full of walkers, mountain bikers, skiers, and snowboarders, all depending on the season of course. Also there will be a plethora of hotel sponsored electric taxis, like little toy cars, as well as several beautiful horse drawn carriages.
The square is bordered by shops, cafes and restaurants, plus the Gornagrat Railway Station and the Tourist Office.
