Penthouse Oberdorf, Beauitful Alpine charm - fully catered.
Wonderful Oberdorf is a duplex penthouse apartment in a chalet perched just above the church square in the town centre. Guests are whisked up to the chalet via a lift. This is extremely convenient for the restaurants, cafes, bars and shops of the centre and only 200 meters away from the Matterhorn Express base station. In winter this is the main resort ski run, thus making this one of the few "ski-in" properties in Zermatt (please note that it is not technically "ski-in" since you ski to within 200m of the entrance lift).
The apartment is extremely comfortable. Bright and sunny during the day and cosy and welcoming at night. With sloping wooden ceilings and a real wood burning fire this is a wonderful base in which to relax and refresh after a busy day in the mountains.
The living area is very spacious and with lots of windows and its elevated position enjoys lots of sunshine. There is a huge up-scale sofa in which to spread out and relax in front of the fire. There is a large flat screen TV with DVD player plus wireless broadband internet throughout.
The open plan kitchen with dining and bar area is also open to the living room making catering a very social affair. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge.
There is also a mezzanine floor with a second living area, and sunny south and east facing balconies with dramatic views to the river. The mezzanine sofa also convents to a bed.
The three other bedrooms have beds which can be made up as doubles or twins. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms one of which enjoys a Jacuzzi bath. There is an additional third bathroom.
Indulge yourselves with a professional private chef to cook gourmet breakfast and dinner. For this option we also provide a free open bar.
Guests of the chalet are invited to use a shared wellness area with a sauna and a Jacuzzi hot-tub.
The prices quoted are for the catered option (breakfast and dinner) . It may be possible for the Penthouse to be booked on a self catering basis. Please enquire for self-catering rates and availability.

Additional Booking Conditions:
- For this apartment the deposit required is shown in the price calculation. A further 50% is required within 1 week of booking. The full outstanding balance must be paid at least 10 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made either by bank transfer or credit card. If payment of the balance is by credit card a 3.25% processing charge will be applied. Bank transfer details will be emailed to you on receipt of your booking request.
- Cancellations.
In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
- For cancellations made more than 70 days before the date of arrival 75% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made between 56 and 70 days before the date of arrival 50% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made between 42 and 56 days before the date of arrival 30% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made 42 days or less before the date of arrival no refund will be made.
