This spacious, modern and stylish penthouse apartment is on the top floor of this building and is itself on two floors. Located in the upscale Winklematten area, a largely residential area offering peace and quiet, yet just a 10 minute walk from Zermatt village centre.
Nearby is a convenience store, a cafe/restaurant and an electric bus stop whisking you to the Matterhorn Express base lift station in just 2 minutes. Alternatively you can walk to this ski station in 5 minutes. Snow permitting you can ski to within 3 minutes of the apartment from the Moos resort run.
The apartment has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining area and kitchen. A wonderful wrap around south facing balcony gives spectacular views of the Matterhorn. A ski room and laundry room is provided within the building. The apartment sleeps 6 adults and 2 children.
The living area is spacious and light and is all open plan to the kitchen making for a great entertaining space. There are cosy sofas around the fireplace with modern wood burning stove, coffee tables and the dining table with seating for eight people. The bay window around the dining table and French windows lead to the sunny balcony with the glorious Matterhorn views.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, hob and fridge freezer. With plenty of pots, pans and tableware it is perfectly equipped for self catering.
On this floor is one of the bedrooms and next to this is a spacious bathroom with a shower and W.C.
On the next floor, accessed by the spiral staircase are the remaining two bedrooms. The master bedroom suite has a double bedroom and an adjoining study with two single sofa beds. So this is an ideal space for a family with young children. The suite also has a south facing balcony with Matterhorn views.
The second double bedroom is on this floor along with another large bathroom with a massage steam shower, jacuzzi bath and WC.
This is a charming chalet, offering great space, a peaceful location convenient for the lifts and of course, the amazing views.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- For this apartment the deposit required is shown in the price calculation. A further 50% is required within 1 week of booking. The full outstanding balance must be paid at least 10 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made either by bank transfer or credit card. If payment of the balance is by credit card a 3.25% processing charge will be applied. Bank transfer details will be emailed to you on receipt of your booking request.
- Cancellations.
In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
- For cancellations made more than 70 days before the date of arrival 75% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made between 56 and 70 days before the date of arrival 50% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made between 42 and 56 days before the date of arrival 30% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made 42 days or less before the date of arrival no refund will be made.
