Chalet Ambience was newly built in 2006 to a very high specification, it is contemporary in design and is a fantastic property in Winklematten, it is possible to ski to within 100 metres of the chalet.
The chalet is free-standing four storey building (with an elevator) and is made up of four units which can be booked seperately or together, two eight bed apartments and two three bed apartments sleeping a total of 28 guests.
The chalet is 20 minutes walk from the centre of the village and 5 minutes from the main ski lift. Alternatively there is a bus-stop 200 metres from the chalet which is free with the lift pass. There is a small shop and several bars and restaurant only a few minutes walk from the chalet.
This beautiful 220m2 duplex apartment comprises of an upper floor with spacious living and dining area there is an open fire, Plasma TV and DVD with surround sound and a Media home system and there is a fantastic view of the Matterhorn and a South facing balcony.
There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, steamer, kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine.
There is a guest WC and one double-bedroom with en suite shower/wc which opens onto a North facing balcony with spectacular views of the Rothorn.
A wrought iron spiral staircase leads down to the lower floor where there are three spacious double bedrooms, each with en suite shower and wc, two of these bedrooms open onto the South facing terrace which has Matterhorn views, there is also a separate Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and WC which also has a view of the Matterhorn. The Business Corner has a computer, fax, scanner and copier.
The basement level consists of a ski room, conference room, a Carnozet (wine cellar) and the Wellness area. There is a Sauna, Steam bath, Aromotherapy Showers and Relaxation area.

For this apartment we do not show online availability. Please use the "Book" button to send your request. We will check availability and get back to you as quickly as possible.
- For this apartment the deposit required is shown in the price calculation. A further 50% is required within 1 week of booking. The full outstanding balance must be paid at least 10 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made either by bank transfer or credit card. If payment of the balance is by credit card a 3.25% processing charge will be applied. Bank transfer details will be emailed to you on receipt of your booking request.
In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply:
- For cancellations made more than 84 days before the date of arrival 75% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made between 83 and 63 days before the date of arrival 60% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made between 62 and 28 days before the date of arrival 20% of the booking cost will be refunded, less the initial non-refundable deposit paid at the time of booking.
- For cancellations made 27 days or less before the date of arrival no refund will be made.
- Check-in time is after 1600 and check out is by 10.00am. Where possible the apartment manager will try to accommodate your requirements.
