It's funny what impressed us.There was washing up Liquid, dishwasher tabs, cooking oil and other condiments that in other accommodations are normally cleared out before the new arrivals. Tourist information by the greeter was excellent and friendly.

It was nice to have basics in the apartment (milk, juice, tea, coffee, toiletries) and also a few luxuries (wine, fruit, flowers), and not have to worry about rushing out and stocking up on these soon after we arrived, particularly as we arrived late.

Every morning we woke up to a fantastic breakfast and every evening all of us looked forward to the hors d'oeuvres Lizzie served us, followed by a meal worthy of a 5 star restaurant! Seriously, we are "into" food and took pictures of every dish she served! Nel pampered us as well and made sure everything was neat and tidy. The place was immaculate! Hugh took care of finding our luggage which had been lost and finding us guides for the Matterhorn. He had a real enthusiasm for life in Zermatt and my kids loved him. When we left, we cried!

The primary reason we wanted an apartment was to be able prepare meals to save some money and this desire was satisfied. Pauline our greeter was very helpful. On the drive from the train station she took the time to point out where the grocery stores were located and a few restaurants. Our trip to Zermatt was to mountain climb. This apartment was conveniently located to lifts.
