Barra Beach is located further out of Sitges, therefore, it can be less crowded than many of the town’s front-facing beaches. Barra Beach is shaped in a cove, providing a more secluded and relaxing environment and calmer waters for bathing. There are few restaurants and bars within easy reach of the beach, and it is popular with all travellers, taking advantage of the array of facilities and activities on offer. Visitors staying in central Sitges holiday apartments can walk along the Passeig Maritim to de la Barra Beach, and is about a 30 minute walk. Alternatively, visitors can choose Sitges holiday apartments further out of the city centre, to stay closer to their favourite beach.
