This apartment is perfectly located in the centre of the old town. Just off the street Huertas, a vibrant, buzzing street full of bars, restaurants and traditional tapas bars with the central hub of Madrid just a short stroll away at Puerta del Sol.
The apartment is in the oldest area of town known as Las Letras, famed for its writers and thriving theaters, and now for the culture Madrilea. Whatever cultural preference you have you can enjoy the many pedestrian streets, bursting with life and with an enormous selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. This really is a fantastic location for your Madrid experience.
This apartment is on the second floor, with a lift, air conditioning and sits at the front of the building with four standing balconies with views out to the pedestrian street below. Located on a quite street and with double glazing you are well protected from the noise of the city.
The funky living area provides a welcoming, colourful space. There is a double sofa bed, arm chairs and coffee table. It is fully air conditioned and there is also a digital TV with terrestrial Spanish channels and DVD player. There is also Wi-Fi internet connection. To one side there is a dining table and chairs. From the living area you can step out through the French doors onto one of the standing balconies.
The first bedroom is air conditioned and has a balcony, double wrought iron bed, plenty of wardrobe space, bedside cabinets and reading lights.
The second bedroom is air conditioned and has a balcony, two single beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and reading lamps.
The fully equipped independent kitchen is supplied with all you will need for entertaining at home. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven and hob. All cutlery, crockery and glassware are provided, plus an iron and ironing board.
The modern stylish bathroom has a shower, sink and w.c. A hairdryer is also provided.
A safety deposit box is also provided.
This is a very comfortable apartment in a fabulous location - a fantastic base for exploring this wonderful city.
A cot (crib) and high chair are available at an additional cost of 20 euros per item to be paid in cash on arrival.
For this apartment guests will be asked to check-in at the apartment management office where you will be given keys and directions to the apartment.
Where fast internet is available and guests wish to have access, there is a charge of 4 euros per day.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- Groups of 6 guests or more will be asked to provide a security deposit of 50 euros per person. This can be either in cash or credit card. For bookings of less then 6 guests a security deposit of 150 euros is required at check-in. This can be paid in cash or credit card.
- Arrivals between 22:00 - 1:00am will be charged an extra 25 euros per apartment. Arrivals after 1:00am will be charged an extra 40 euros per apartment.
- Arrivals after 3:00am only by prior arrangement.
- The balance can be paid in cash or by credit card. (VISA or MASTERCARD) if paying by credit card a card processing charge of 1.75 % will be applied.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Bookings for 1 or 2 apartments for less than 3 weeks: Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival: 20 euro (admin fee).
- Cancellation 29 to 15 days before arrival: 20% of the whole stay.
- Cancellation 14 to 8 days before arrival: 30% of the whole stay.
- Cancellation 7 to 4 days before arrival: 50% of the whole stay.
- No show or cancellation 3 days before arrival: whole stay charge.
- Bookings for more than 2 apartments or for more than 3 weeks:
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival: 30% of the whole stay.
- Cancellation 29 to 15 days before arrival: 40% of the whole stay.
- Cancellation 14 to 4 days before arrival: 60% of the whole stay.
- No show or cancellation 3 days before arrival: whole stay charge.

The apartments were spotless and had everything we needed. We also thought that they were in a fantastic area, which was so central to everything and exactly what we wanted. It was great that we were allowed a later check-out, as our return flights weren't until early evening.
