Roland House apartments are situated in the quiet residential area of South Kensington, close to the prestigious shopping areas of Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea and is ideally placed for the museums and the major exhibition centres of Earls Court and Olympia.
Knightsbridge is home to some of the worlds most famous stores. The area is one of the most unspoilt in London, with numerous restaurants - perfect for relaxing after a hard days shopping.
Also close by is Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and the Albert Hall. So whether you want to have a picnic in the park, listen to a concert or visit one of the nearby museums, this location is perfect.
This apartment has an open plan living area with a kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bathroom. It is comfortably furnished in a modern style and has wooden floors.
The kitchen is fitted with a hob, microwave oven, refrigerator, kettle and all the crockery and cooking utensils you will need for your stay
The living area has a TV with Freeview satellite channels and a work desk and chair. There a comfortable sofa and a coffee table. The apartment also has a DVD player,a CD player and free broadband internet access (cabled).
The bedrooms have either a double or twin beds. There are also bedside tables and reading lamps. There is also a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a hand basin, a heated towel rail and a W.C.
The apartment building has a 24 hour reception and free laundry facilities. There is also a fully fitted gym and spa with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna room.
A weekly change of bed linens and towels are provided, but the bed is not changed for you.
No maid service available.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- A non refundable deposit of one months rent is due in advance.
- The remaining balance is also due at the time of booking unless you can provide the following:
- 3 months bank statements plus 2 work references. If these are accepted by the apartment manager they will only require one months pre payment (on top of the one week initial deposit). In this case the remaining balance is payable in one month instalments from arrival onwards.
- In addition you will need to provide a security deposit in the form of one months rent of the apartment. The security deposit will be refunded 14 days after check out if there are no charges due for damages.
- There is a GBP 50 admin fee due on top of these charges included in the total price as a cleaning fee.

"The Bumpkin restaurant very near (102 Old Brompton Road) was very good. It serves a variety of good local food. We also liked the Green Door steakhouse (on Gloucester Road). The Hummingbird Bakery (47 Old Brompton Road) had very good cupcakes. We didn't bring a computer, so we used two internet cafes nearby, one on Gloucester Road near the tube stop (open to midnight) and another near South Kensington station."
