Regent's Park
Regent’s Park is a hub of activity that makes for a great day out for everyone. The serene and tranquil pathways make for a romantic setting, whilst the London Zoo will provide a fun-filled day out for the whole family. The Hub and its sporting facilities also make it a great place to play a number of sports, meaning no matter what your tastes, a visit to Regent’s Park from one of our London apartments gives you a diverse range of choice with some fantastic attractions.
The park is named after Prince Regent whose vision for the park came to life in the early 19th Century, with the London Zoo being made open to the public in 1847. Since then, the park has continued to be a popular tourist attraction and one of the biggest parks in London. The park has also been the site for many memorials in the past, including for the London Bombings in 2005, displaying its importance to the city of London.
From one of our London apartments close by, you will be able to choose from an array of activities in Regent’s Park. Besides The Hub and London Zoo, Primrose Hill is at the north of the park and makes for an intimate location with some of the best scenery in all of London. Queen Mary’s Gardens contains some beautifully serene gardens with many rare flowers you will struggle to find anywhere else in the UK. There are also a number of cafés you can take a break at, as with so much to see and experience at Regent’s Park you may well need a cup of traditional English tea and a snack as you try to cram it all in.
Regent’s Park is the perfect place to relax and unwind or to have a family day out. With so much going on in this huge park, there truly is something for everyone, making it a great place to go and see from the short trip of one of our London apartments.
