Hyde Park - London’s largest Park - will provide the starting and finishing line for the Olympic Triathlon. Making use of The Serpentine, the race will commence with a 1,500m swim across this vast lake, followed by a 40km bike ride in and around the Park, and a 10km run for the final leg of the competition. In addition to the Triathlon, Hyde Park will also host the 10k Open Water Swim around the Serpentine. 3,000 spectators will be able to watch these demanding events and will be able to reach Hyde Park from London’s West End.
