Camden Market
The Camden Markets are a collection of unique markets in the northern section of
Camden that make up one of the most popular attractions in London. Every weekend it attracts around 100,000-150,000 visitors due to its variety and choice, creating a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere as people look to get around and experience as much as they can. The Stables Market is the largest and perhaps most famous as it has an array of unique clothes and crafts available without a chain store in sight. Our
London apartments, nearby the Camden Markets are located in a thriving area that is attracting a much younger crowd, with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy in the evenings.
Camden Markets’ unique selling point is the variety on offer, with each individual market offering something different than the others whether it’s clothes, food or vintage ornaments. The Camden Lock Market next to the Regent’s Canal focuses primarily on crafts, though it does have stalls devoted to food to allow you to sample local cuisine, and along with The Stables Market make up the majority of the Camden Markets with other markets scattered around the local area. The stalls allow you to get a sample of London culture and take home with you something truly distinctive.
The Camden Town and Chalk Farm tube stations are both well within walking distance if you want to sample the highly popular markets. With so many restaurants and bars also around, along with
Regent’s Park and
Primrose Hill, the Camden Markets make for a great day out, with much to do in the evening from one of our
London apartments.
