A huge critical and popular hit in London's West End, this production is one of the hot tickets in London Theatre.

Based on the childrens' novel by Michael Morpurgo, this is the moving story of a young Devon boy who fights in the trenches of the first World War whilst searching for his beloved, conscripted horse, Joey.

With horses beautifully realised through skilful puppetry, this is a moving production aimed at a family audience. Once seen by Steven Spielberg, he bought up the rights to make the film production, to be directed by himself, with an expected release of December 2011.

If you want to see a show with a little more depth than the big hitters such as Wicked and Phantom, then this is definitely the one to watch. Now showing at the New London Theatre, Drury Lane, you will need to book well in advance.
