Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is a globally recognised symbol of London, with tourists from all over the world flocking to see the iconic bridge every day. Providing a vital transportation link between the City of London and Borough, Tower Bridge is still a pedestrian friendly landmark, with it even containing its own exhibition centre within the horizontal walkway that offers one of the best vantage points in London. We have a number of London apartments within close proximity of the bridge, allowing you to visit this incredible structure whenever you like as well as experiencing what else this tourist friendly area has to offer.
Tower Bridge’s construction was completed in 1894, with it being commissioned after congestion had begun to overcrowd transportation in London. However, because the River Thames was used by ships, the bridge needed to have the ability to be raised to allow the traffic to pass. Since then, Tower Bridge has become one of the world’s most famous bridges due to its unique architecture and design.
Although the bridge may well be at the top of your sightseeing list, there is still much to see and do, all within touching distance of our London apartments in this highly popular area.
