Kentish Town
Located in the North of London and within close proximity of Camden, Kentish Town is an area that still contains some classic Victorian architecture and is close to some of London’s most lively regions. With the likes of Hampstead Heath, Primrose Hill and Camden all close by, Kentish Town is a less known area yet still has its own personality and hosts its own array of bars and restaurants to enjoy from one of our London apartments.
The 19th Century saw large modernisation of Kentish Town, with some of this architecture still standing today and giving the area an element of history and culture. Since then, the area has been the home of such famous figures as Karl Marx and more recently Frank Lampard, signifying how it is a great residential area for those that can appreciate its admired architecture and relatively low-key atmosphere, yet still with lively hotspots for those that like to socialise.
The likes of Camden Market, Regent’s Park and The Emirates Stadium are all within a mile or two away, making it easy to experience some of London’s hidden gems and its culture. Kentish Town also has various trendy bars and restaurants that you can sample such as The Grand Union, which can boast a superb food and cocktail menu and The Fiddlers Elbow for live music from emerging bands, giving you great entertainment near our London apartments.
Kentish Town has both its own rail station and tube station, so getting around London is very easy. Our London apartments in Kentish Town will allow you to see a more grounded area of London and see what other wonders there are in the city past the most obvious and famous ones.
