The building was originally built in 1900 but was completed renovated in 2000, with the beautiful original paintings in the stairways lovingly restored to emphasise its unique and classical charm. Please note that there is lift access is only between floors 1-4 in this building.
It is an ideal location to explore the city. Hackescher Marktm Alexanderplatz, the television tower and the Museum Island are all within a short walking distance.
This apartment is located above a bar which on the weekends may cause a minor noise disturbance. There is soundproofing between the bar and the apartment so this has not been a major problem in the past. In the case that you are a light sleeper this apartment may not be ideal for you, but otherwise it is often at a discounted rate at the weekends.
