The apartment is located in a beautiful listed historic building right in the Barri Gotic. It has been refurbished in keeping with its historic past but with modern facilities such as a lift. You can particularly see in the communal areas where the medieval character of the building has been maintained, especially the old coaching entrance.
Inside the apartment you have every modern facility with lots of retained character. The apartment is on the first floor and fully air conditioned and heated and the living area is very spacious and has open stone walls and beams and with a ceiling height of over 3 metres, there is a real sense of 'loft living' especially with all the natural light streaming in.
There is a balcony overlooking the street where you can watch the world go by, but later, when some peace and quiet is required the double glazed windows cut out any noise from below.
The apartment has been decorated with vintage 70's furniture and pieces from Africa and Brazil giving the apartment a creative, eclectic feel. The Bang and Olufsen TV, CD and DVD however are all bang up to date and the apartment has ADSL internet connection. There is a sofa bed and coffee table with art works from the different continents and a groovy blue rug.
The modern kitchen has all you will need for entertaining at home, plus washing machine and dryer.
The bathroom has a walk in shower, w.c and sink.
The bedroom is separated off from the living area by a large sliding door, which when left open doubles the feeling of space in the apartment. There is a double bed measuring 160 x 190 and fitted wardrobes against the whole of one wall with a really comfy 70's chair to relax in.
Located right on one of the three main shopping avenues in Barcelona this apartment is a great base for being immersed in art and shopping. A truly memorable setting for your stay in Buzzing Barcelona!
Additional Booking Conditions:
- If cancellation is within 28 days of the start date of the booking a further cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card, thus making the total paid 50% of the original booking total.
- Where there is only a partial cancellation, (that is, fewer days) the 50% charge will be calculated on the difference between the original booking price and the revised booking price, and added to the revised price.
- If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before your due date of arrival, or do not arrive at all, you will be charged the remaining amount for the booking, resulting in the FULL AMOUNT for the booking being paid.
