The location for this apartment is fantastic. The wonderful city beaches of Barcelona are actually at the end of the street. You'll be able to hear the lapping of the Mediterranean from your bed! The famous bustling and vibrant Passeig Don Joan de Borbo is just a few streets away -packed with great bars and restaurants in this very hip and happening central area.
It’s just a 6-minute stroll along the harbour front past the seafood restaurants to the Metro, but you won't need the metro as its just another 8 minutes stroll to the famous La Rambla and the Barri Gotic. Being based in Barceloneta is a wonderful way to combine a beach holiday with a City break - it’s all in easy walking distance.

This small apartment is in a restored "finca" - a traditional Barcelonan apartment building. Smartly decorated, the apartment is well equipped for a relaxing and comfortable break. There are two bedrooms, the first has twin beds and the second has a single bed. There is also a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. Additionally, the bedrooms have ample wardrobe space. The single bedroom has only an internal window.
The small but bright living / dining / kitchen area has a TV, DVD and dinning table and chairs. There is a standing balcony overlooking the street below. The kitchen is well equipped with a hob, oven, coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom is fully tiled, mediterranean-style, complete with shower (no bath).
The apartment building does not have a lift but the apartment is just one floor up.
Please note that you may NOT bring bicycles to this apartment, the stairwells are narrow and the apartment is small.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- Arrivals between 10.00pm and 11.55pm attract a charge of Euros 35, payable on arrival. Check-ins after 11.55pm attract a charge of Euros 50, payable on arrival.
- Cancellations: If the cancellation is within 28 days of the start date of the booking a further cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card, thus making the total paid 50% of the original booking total.
- Where there is only a partial cancellation, (that is, fewer days) the 50% charge will be calculated on the difference between the original booking price and the revised booking price, and added to the revised price.
- If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before your due date of arrival, or do not arrive at all, you will be charged the remaining amount for the booking, resulting in the FULL AMOUNT for the booking being paid.

Book a 2 day ticket on the Bus Touristic, to get a good overview of the City and to get your bearings. We will return to Barcelona one day and wouldn't stay anywhere other than Barceloneta."

Once in Barceloneta, you don't feel like you are in a big city. Locals very friendly, with a few entertaining eccentrics (check out the owner of the electritat bar next to the Barceloneta market). Try the potato Bomba at 56 Balluard Street; try asking for extra hot if you dare. We ate locally most of the time. If you are prepared to try anything, you will eat like a lord at very reasonable prices. You get the best of bother worlds in Barceloneta - a beach holiday and a city break - wonderful!!
