This smart apartment is located in the fascinating district of Poblenou, very close to the best beaches of Barcelona. With the metro just a minute's walk, Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla are just 8 minute's ride away.
Poblenou was the epicenter of Spanish industry, becoming known as the Manchester of Catalonia. Recently the neighborhood has undergone a dramatic transformation with the development of Vila Olympica for the Barcelona Olympic Games, the Diagonal Mar area, and the Forum.
Alongside the newly-built, upscale Vila Olympica and Diagonal Mar areas, many artists and young professionals have converted the former factories and warehouses into lofts, galleries, and shops. Art & Design schools and studios have also opened, making the area known for its creative outlook. The leafy Rambla de Poble Nou, which stretches from Avinguda Diagonal to the beach, is an alternative to Barcelona's more well-known La Rambla.
The smart living room enjoys plenty of Mediterranean light through the sliding floor to ceiling windows. There is a TV, DVD, Hi-fi and wireless broadband internet. There is a dining table and chairs for 6 guests. This is all offset by the beautiful wooden floors throughout. This apartment does not have a balcony.
The modern designer kitchen is well equipped with a full oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine and dryer.
There are is a double bedroom and two bedrooms with single beds. There is an additional double bed in the living room or a bedroom.
The bathroom is smart with a bath and overhead shower. There is a second bathroom with shower.
Parking is available on request at euros 10 per night.

Additional Booking Conditions:
- Arrivals after 10pm will be charged a late check in fee of 30 EUR.
- From November 1st 2012 a local tourist tax will be introduced for Barcelona. For this apartment the price does not include the local tourist tax which is payable at check-in. The tax is currently set at EUR 0.75 per person, per night. (unders 16's are not charged).
- Guests will be required to produce a valid credit card on arrival. The card will be used to pre-authorise a security deposit of 200 euros. This will be released on departure if the apartment has been left in a presentable condition, unless there have been any damages or complaints from neighbours, the police or other guests regarding anti-social behaviour.
- Groups of 6 guests or more will be asked to provide a security deposit of 400 euros payable by credit card.
- Hen and Stag parties are not permitted in this apartment.
- For this apartment the balance may be paid by cash or credit card. If paying the balance by credit card a processing charge of 2% will be applied.
- Cancellations: If the cancellation is within 28 days of the start date of the booking a further cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card, thus making the total paid 50% of the original booking total.
- Where there is only a partial cancellation, (that is, fewer days) the 50% charge will be calculated on the difference between the original booking price and the revised booking price, and added to the revised price.
- No Show.
If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before your due date of arrival, or do not arrive at all, you will be charged the remaining amount for the booking, resulting in the FULL AMOUNT for the booking being paid.
