Serra de Collserola is a beautiful mountain range of Barcelona, home to some of the city’s most breath-taking views. The famous Mount Tibidabo is the highest of the mountains and stands at an incredible 512 metres tall. However, this is just one peak of many that are all stunning locations to visit and explore when under the beautiful Barcelona weather. There is much more to this mountain range than simply the view, with an amusement park, cafés and the largest metropolitan park in the world making it a must visit from our Barcelona apartments.

The range is an unbelievable 22 times bigger than New York’s Central Park with rare and exciting animals such as wild boar, salamanders and badgers all residing within its boundaries. However, the park also has several restaurants and residential paths that make it a great day out to explore. Mount Tibidabo also hosts a range of cafés and makes for a romantic hotspot, particularly when you’re at its peak and the sun is setting. The range has multiple transportation systems such as railway and bus routes if you don’t fancy hiking up it, whilst you could also drive if you rent a hire car. The amusement park’s admission fee is 25 euros, though that can drop depending on your height, with the beauty of the mountain range being most of its treasures and activities are completely free to enjoy.
