Golden Square, Style and Grace in the heart of the city

If you are looking for a haven of tranquillity within the buzzing centre of this fabulous city you need look no further. This apartment is wonderfully located just seconds away from Barcelona's hub - Placa Catalunya and a few minutes stroll to the famous La Rambla. The ancient Barri Gotic (Barcelona's medieval heart) is five minutes away. The chic shopping boulevard of Passeig De Gracia is the next street along. The apartment is in Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square) due to its abundant modernist architecture. Just round the corner from the apartment you can see Gaudi's famous Casa Batllo. Two minutes walk away and you arrive at his stunning Pedrera. The metro at Placa Catalunya is less than three minutes away. What a location!
But being so central might mean noisy! Not in this case. The apartment is high up within this elegant apartment building, away from all the hustle and bustle at street level. All the windows are double-glazed and the apartment is air-conditioned through-out. Just reaching the apartment is a thrill. On entering the beautiful lobby of the building you will marvel at the genuine frieze on the ceiling and the incredible oak doors. Then open the glass doors to the original elevator and step inside the lift's cabin and away you go.
The apartment is a pleasure to enter. The entrance hall and bedroom have beautiful parquet flooring and the lounge area has beautifully cool marble flooring. The lounge has been furnished with a sumptuous sofa, which transforms into a luxury sofabed. There is a large television, sideboard and solid wood chest of draws. The kitchen is stunning, and equipped with a 2 ring vitro-ceramic hob, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker and coffee machine. There is a dining table and chairs to seat four.
The bedroom is simple and stylish with a large double bed, lamps and wardrobes. The bathroom is small but perfectly formed. It has been created using units and materials of the highest standards. It is completely tiled, has a metallic ceiling and a great glass shower unit.
The apartment has free wi-fi internet.
The whole apartment is decorated using a wonderful blend of colours and natural light to give the apartment a spacious, relaxing environment. A perfect setting to unwind after a hard day's sightseeing. A place to chill before venturing back out into Barcelona's famous nightlife, just around the corner.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- Please note that Hen and stag parties are not permitted in this apartment.
- A cash security deposit of Euros 200 is required at check-in.
- Cancellations: If the cancellation is within 28 days of the start date of the booking a further cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card, thus making the total paid 50% of the original booking total.
- Where there is only a partial cancellation, (that is, fewer days) the 50% charge will be calculated on the difference between the original booking price and the revised booking price, and added to the revised price.
- No Show.
If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before your due date of arrival, or do not arrive at all, you will be charged the remaining amount for the booking, resulting in the FULL AMOUNT for the booking being paid.

"The on line booking was quick and easy with excellent communication and contact details of the greeter on the day of arrival. The greeter met us at the arranged time and when there was a problem with the number of people that I had booked at the apartment it was sorted out quickly and efficiently with no undue stress to us and extra towels and bedding were arranged with in minutes. We were given a handout and maps, with handy tips on local shops and restaurants etc. The greeter even rang me back later after checking out the right train station to go to on our return to Reus Airport.
