Calabria, Charming and calming.

This is a lovely, bright and spacious apartment in a charming colonial-modernista style building in the up-scale Eixample area of central Barcelona. The location is favoured by guests looking for a stylish, central and peaceful location. It is just a short stroll from Plaza Espanya and the stunning Magic Fountains. Its also just a short walk to La Fira - Barcelona's premier exhibition complex and the Congress Palace. With the metro close by access to all of Barcelona is made very easy.

This is a great area for experiencing the real Barcelona and enjoy the shops, cafes and tapas bars frequented by the locals. It is also just a 7 minute metro ride to Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla and easy access to Barcelona Sants railway station for connections to the airport and other major cities.

This classically styled apartment is on the first floor with the benefit of a lift and has beautiful parquet wooden floors throughout.

There is a wonderful master bedroom with double bed, cool white walls with the marvelous double doors leading out onto the hallway. There is a chest of drawers and bedside cabinet.

A second smaller bedroom has a single bed, bedside cabinet, and reading light.

The living area has a comfortable double sofa bed and lovely sunny terrace accessed from the floor to ceiling French doors. High ceilings and beautifully proportioned, with decorative cornicing, there is a dining table and four chairs plus a further sofa. The TV has Spanish terrestrial channels. The terrace is lovely with tumbling plants and greenery with an awning to keep cool. The living area is air conditioned.

The kitchen is very attractive and sleek, fully equipped with stove, oven, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, milkshaker, toaster, etc.

There is a complete bathroom, very smart with bath and shower, sink and w.c. and a hairdryer is provided.

There is an iron and ironing board provided.

The apartment also enjoys free broadband ADSL internet connection.

This is a charming apartment with great connections for exploring the best of buzzing Barcelona or offering a calm retreat with all facilities for business or pleasure.

Please note there is a soccer field situated close to this apartment, games can be played until 11pm at night

Additional Booking Conditions:

• Arrivals after 10pm will be charged a late check in fee of 30 EUR.
• From November 1st 2012 a local tourist tax will be introduced for Barcelona. For this apartment the price does not include the local tourist tax which is payable at check-in. The tax is currently set at EUR 0.75 per person, per night. (unders 16's are not charged).
• Guests will be required to produce a valid credit card on arrival. The card will be used to pre-authorise a security deposit of 200 euros. This will be released on departure if the apartment has been left in a presentable condition, unless there have been any damages or complaints from neighbours, the police or other guests regarding anti-social behaviour.
• Groups of 6 guests or more will be asked to provide a security deposit of 400 euros payable by credit card.
• Hen and Stag parties are not permitted in this apartment.
• For this apartment the balance may be paid by cash or credit card. If paying the balance by credit card a processing charge of 2% will be applied.
• Cancellations: If the cancellation is within 28 days of the start date of the booking a further cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card, thus making the total paid 50% of the original booking total.
• Where there is only a partial cancellation, (that is, fewer days) the 50% charge will be calculated on the difference between the original booking price and the revised booking price, and added to the revised price.
• No Show. If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before your due date of arrival, or do not arrive at all, you will be charged the remaining amount for the booking, resulting in the FULL AMOUNT for the booking being paid.
