The location of this apartment is superb - very near the centre but in a quiet area and overlooking a picturesque canal. When you tire of walking and need a rest, you can still enjoy being in Amsterdam! The room is full of character but with a very modern, well--equipped and clean kitchen area. The bathroom is the same. The basic groceries in the kitchen were much appreciated.

I appreciate a lot the area, a lot of good restaurants, supermarkets, shops, delicatessen and very near from Central station. The apartment is a very good address in Amsterdam. The neighbourhood is quite noisy, especially on friday and saturday night, because ot the pub next door and traffic in the street.

It was good to have that service, especially when booking online. You could check that all the appliances in the apartments are working as advertised. For example, the TV only had 3 channels.This was disappointing as TV was advertised. Similarly, a DVD player was advertised, but the remote didn't work. Likewise, the coffee maker didn't work. However, these were minor annoyances. The apartment itself was fine.

Greeter communication was OK not great. More towels would be nice. Our only real complaint is that the staircase in the building was filthy. For such a nice apartment, the staircase makes a terrible first impression. The 3 floor walk up is the only other physical issue. It is otherwise charming and the neighborhood is fantastic. All in all, we are very satisfied.
