This original sea-going fishing boat built just after the Second World War. It will provide you with a unique experience of Amsterdam canal life and is perfectly located a few minutes walk from Centraal Station. It's conversion offers you an unusual but authentic living space right in the very heart of the city.
It has been lovingly converted but still retains many of it's original features such as internal oak panelling and an original water-tight door.
From the huge upper deck, where you can spend those balmy summer's evenings, to the lower deck where it is cosy and comfortable during the winter, this really is an opportunity to create some wonderful memories from your visit to Amsterdam.
The living area on the upper deck features wood panelling throughout and has two single sofa beds a TV DVD player & CD player and wireless internet. There is also a table and chairs.
The modern kitchen is open plan to the living room and provides all you will require for your weekend break. There is a four ring hob, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery, utensils and tableware you will need for your stay.
On the lower deck, accessed by a steep ship's staircase is the large bedroom. There is one double bed which can be separated from the other beds in this room by a curtain for a little privacy. There are also two single beds and a double sofa bed.
The bathroom has a shower and hand basin and there is a separate W.C. A hair dryer is provided.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- The manager asks that you leave the accommodation as clean and tidy as it was at check in. If you do not wish to clean it please let your greeter know the evening before departure to book extra cleaning at a cost of EUR 25.
- Visitors are not permitted in the accommodation, the maximum occupancy of the accommodation is the number of guests booked at all times.
- A 5 night minimum stay will apply for Easter, Queens Day and Christmas and New Year. A 7 night stay will apply during the annual IBC conference and the Cannabis Cup.
- As with most hotels on arrival you will be asked to pay the balance of the rental charge in cash in Euros together with a 200 EUR refundable cash security deposit.
- Cancellation policy:
- Should you need to cancel your booking you must give at least 14 days notice to avoid additional cancellation charges.
- If your stay is for 3 days or less, there will be an additional charge equivalent to one night's rental.
- If your stay is between 4 and 7 days, there will be an additional charge equivalent to three night's rental.
- If your stay is for 7 days and above there will be an additional charge equivalent to 5 night's rental.
- If you cancel within 48 hours of your arrival or you do not show you will be charged the full amount of your stay.
- A late check-in charge of EUR 20 will apply for all check-ins post 20.00.
