Montelbaan Tower Houseboat, Houseboat with Great Canal Views.

This well equipped and modern houseboat is centrally located close to Waterlooplein and Nieuwmarkt Square, on one of Amsterdam's famous canals. Dam Square is less than 10 minutes walk away, whilst the lovely Jordaan is about 15 minutes walk away. The boat has wonderful views of the canal and Montelbaan Tower.

This houseboat is light and bright, and is just a few minutes walk from many of the key sights of Amsterdam. The Gassan Diamond factory is around the corner, the NEMO museum, the Jewish Historic museum and The Museum of the Resistance are all nearby.

There are two bedrooms, a living/dining room and open plan kitchen, and a bathroom. You enter the boat through the original wheelhouse. There are wooden floors throughout and the boat is kept light due to its windows and skylights.

The living room features a sofa, armchairs, a piano, a T.V with DVD player and a Home Cinema Set. There is also a circular dining table and chairs. Complimentary high speed internet is also provided.

The modern and fully equipped open kitchen features a dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, coffeemaker, kettle and all the cutlery, utensils and tableware you will need for your stay.

One of the bedrooms has a circular double bed. Please note this is a cosy space. The second bedroom has two single beds which are placed very close together.

The bathroom provides a shower and bathtub. There is a separate W.C.

This houseboat is NOT suitable for anyone who cannot swim, particularly small children. Pets are not allowed.

Additional Booking Conditions:

• The rates for this apartment exclude 5% city tax, which will be added to the balance paid directly to your apartment manager.
• A 25% deposit will be taken directly by the apartment manager at the time of booking.
• The outstanding balance will then be due 14 days prior to your arrival date.
• Payment can be made either by credit card or bank transfer. If payment is made by bank transfer, funds must be cleared, a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival. If payment is made by credit card, an authorisation is required, which must be signed and returned directly to your apartment manager.
• On arrival a EUR 500 credit card pre-authorisation will be required, per apartment. This security deposit will be returned to your card on the first business day following your check-out unless there have been any damages or complaints from neighbours, the police or other guests regarding anti-social behaviour.
• A 5 night minimum stay will apply during the Easter, Christmas and New Year period, and a 7 night minimum stay will apply during the period of the IBC Conference in September.
• The cost of a cot or a high chair is EUR 15 per item, per night.
• Cancellation Policy.
• In the event of cancellation your initial deposit is non-refundable.
• Thereafter, If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date, a further charge equivalent to 25% of the outstanding balance will apply.
• If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, or do not show, a charge equivalent to 100% of the outstanding balance will apply.
