Greenhouse Effect Mary Jane, In the heart of the Red Light District.
The famous Greenhouse Effect Coffeeshop, Hotel and Bar is located on the Warmoesstraat in the heart of Amsterdam. Above the coffee shop and bar are these clean, fun and safe bed and breakfast rooms. Guests can enjoy breakfast (inclusive) until 12 midday every day as well as happy hour prices on pints of beer and cider all day in the Greenhouse Effect Bar.
There is no curfew so come back as late (or early) as you like! You can choose to stay in one of these uniquely decorated rooms.
This room is basic but comfortably furnished and consists of two single bunk beds with a further single bed. There is also a table with three stools, TV, mini bar and built-in safe deposit box.
The bathroom is clean and bright and offers, toilet, shower, handbasin and towel rail.
Breakfast is served up to 12 midday every day.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- As with most hotels, on arrival you will be asked to settle the balance of the booking charge in full. In addition you will need to provide a security deposit in the form of an imprint of your credit card.
- You must cancel at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to avoid an additional charge, equivalent to one night's stay.

"The checking-in process was very easy, no hassle. Man who checked us in was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was a great apartment, superb location. It was very clean, and although the apartment was not cleaned by staff during our stay, we were allowed to borrow cleaning supplies to clean the apartment ourselves. Clean towels were supplied each day. The building was brilliant, so much atmosphere in the coffee shop and bar. Staff were really nice too. Also free internet access, which proved very handy. We loved the area, it was very busy and there were always people around. We felt safe at all times. Clubs - there was a drum 'n' bass night called Cheeky Mondays in the Winston Kingdom, it's on every Monday from 10 - 3. Definitely would recommend this night to anyone going to Amsterdam. "
