Cat, Canalside apartment at the Cat Museum.
This delightful apartment is located above the Cat Cabinet museum on one of Amsterdam's most prestigious and beautiful canals, the Herengracht. Once the home of the Amsterdam mayor, (also used by George Clooney and Brad Pitt when shooting Oceans Twelve), the house is now a museum dedicated to art depicting cats.
The location is second to none, in the gorgeous Jordaan area, just a short walk to the Flower Market and the Rijksmuseum. The immediate area has some wonderful shops, galleries and restaurants.
The apartment has two bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms and most rooms benefit from lovely views of the Herengracht canal.
The living room has a sofa bed, TV with cable channels, coffee table, an open fire and Wireless internet is provided in the apartment.
The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob, fridge freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils.
One of the bedrooms has a double bed, the other has a single bed.
There are two bathrooms, one with a bath, the other with a shower and there is a separate W.C. A washer dryer, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board are provided.
For those allergic to cats please note that there are cats living in the building, but not in the apartment.
Additional Booking Conditions:
- The remaining balance is due in cash in Euros on arrival.
- Cancellation Policy.
- Cancellations must be given in writing via email. There will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the initial booking deposit.
- If you cancel on the day of arrival or are a no show the full balance will be charged.

The house was very well served with the wi-fi connection, it was great for us in fact we could book museum visits, restaurants, check transport timetables for trip and communicate with our relatives in Italy, everything free using our laptop.
